Thin Client / Server Based Computing means that no applications are installed on the workstations at your office. All applications (i.e. Microsoft Office, Quickbooks, etc.) and user settings are installed on a central server. Because applications and user settings are run from a central server, your employees can work from home or from any remote location that has Internet access... exactly the same as if they were sitting at a desk in the office.

When your company expands - new employees hired or remote locations setup - all that is necessary, to have your new employees ready to go, is an inexpensive desktop computer and an Internet connection. All applications will be available without installing a single program on the new workstation. This greatly reduces the amount of time and capital expended on new hires.

Since all applications run on a central server, employees' desktops can be viewed by management at any time. This allows for ease of employee assistance and collaboration. Productivity is increased and the cost and time associated with technical support is decreased.
